I've been looking for a few years for the perfect solution to do pure creative work without worrying about money and making videos like a movie.
1. Cinematic Picture. For 7 years I have been solving the same problem: how to make real artists out of ordinary people who just have jobs and raise kids, who only know from filming where the "Camera" app on their phone is in order to shoot their cat. And preferably do it in a few months, not a lifetime.
2. Constant money. I've been a professional filmmaker for 12 years now. For years I went around in circles and couldn't figure out how to make this profession really PROFITABLE without shooting children's parties or weddings (and I've shot those too).
The logical way is to start with a cinematic picture.
And here is a big bummer. Most likely, you didn't shoot anything at all.) And if you did, then as a result your videos are still a real bottom... And the most frustrating thing is that you realize it yourself, even if you have positive comments from your mom under your videos. And then you get discouraged. "Filmmaking is not my thing..." you hear a quiet moan from the dark bedroom...
That's probably the main reason WHY you're here. If so, I know how to help you!
As soon as I realized that I wasn't getting anywhere near the results I wanted to see, I started studying the basics very closely. And the basics of cinematography. And what I discovered turned everything upside down...When I put all these best practices into one system and converted them to the modern format of short videos, everything went right.

And the most amazing thing is that this reel is made without a single transition or effect! Simple gluing! Very simple editing. And it was all taken on a phone... But it looks great!

- Depth and dynamics within the frame

There is nothing cooler if you know how to create a " cinematic picture", no artificial intelligence, transitions in the editing and other show-offs will not cover the lack of these skills

Effects and transitions are great tools, but maximally useless if you don't know exactly when and where to apply them.
It's silly to expect that by learning a couple of techniques, you'll be able to create really high quality and in-demand videos.
No. You need a real basis, and once you've built it, you can move in any style or direction. Whether it's professional production or cute stories for your family.
And here's what I came up with...
Instead of trying to replicate some fashion trends, I delved into the very foundation of cinematography
To start with, remember one thing: Professionalism does not pull you to the ground. When your reels become like a film, you'll change. You will become more confident; you will have something solid to lean on. And most importantly - the result of your work will be visualized. It can be seen. It can be SHOWN. It's worth taking the professional approach, even if you just want to edit your holiday videos.
"A cinematic picture is all very well... but who needs all those beautiful videos?"
Here we come to the second very important question:
Where do you apply your knowledge?
You have to admit, shooting the coolest videos for pleasure, travelling, meeting amazing people, being in a luxurious atmosphere and still GETTING PAID FOR IT - it's too perfect a world!
If you ask your fellow videographers (if you have any) if they live in such a world, they will laugh in your face.
"How can I not fall into such a trap? I'm just green... I'm just thinking about making videos..."
That's the secret: you've got to get it right to start! You, as a first-time filmmaker, have a big advantage. Did you know that at the Cannes Film Festival, debutantes are the first to be seen? Because new things always spark interest.
With my own technology, I found my first client just a few weeks after arriving in Dubai. (We still work with him and shoot 4(!!!) times a month). And after two months I've done nothing at all to promote myself, I get new clients writing to me every day. Because...
Secondly, customers like videos more than photos.
This is already a fact. Take a look at Instagram, what will you see there? For sure, videos. And a whole lot of them. And what's it like most of the time? That's right, terrible quality. And you always pay attention to cool videos.
"Maybe I'll learn on YouTube myself after all. Besides, I often come across editing lessons in reels...".
It's quite simple: the sooner you become familiar with my algorithm, the sooner you'll get into the niche of next-generation filmmakers.
Many brands are beginning to realize that the current model of promotion and sales has become obsolete.
Certainly everyone has rushed to shoot videos on their phones. And some of them have already started to realize that without a filmmaker you will have nothing there: the quality sucks, and it's too hard to shoot constantly and a lot.

I have to be honest - I'm not one of those gifted guys who makes things easy.
I haven't had a steady income from video for a long time.
I worked as a programmer for five years and made very decent money. It was sooooo boring... But my passion for video was greater than any hardship!
But once I got a cinematic picture in my work, applied a new model for Fast Food content and got an endless stream of clients, my life changed...
